PRF Hair Restoration: Pre And Post Treatment Instructions

PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) hair restoration offered at Seaport Medspa, is a non-surgical procedure used to stimulate hair growth and improve hair density in individuals experiencing hair loss or thinning hair.

PRF is derived from the patient's own blood. During the procedure, a small amount of blood is drawn from the patient and processed in a centrifuge to separate the platelets and plasma from other blood components. The resulting platelet-rich fibrin is then injected into the scalp in areas where hair growth is desired.

Platelets contain growth factors and other bioactive substances that can stimulate the regeneration and healing processes in the body. When injected into the scalp, these growth factors are believed to promote hair follicle health, stimulate dormant hair follicles, and increase blood circulation to the hair follicles.

The PRF hair restoration procedure is relatively quick and minimally invasive. Prior to receiving this treatment it’s important to review and follow the below pre and post treatment instructions to receive the best results.
